Shahram “Ram” Zare carries a dark secret—shadows of unresolved pain. Five years earlier, he and his brother fled their home country after a tribal war, but now, the ghosts have settled, and their uncle travels to the US, hoping to encourage the brothers to marry. And Ram has been charged with finding a pseudo-fiancée for his older brother, Javad. His search leads him to a beautiful woman. He hesitates to ask her to be a pawn in such an archaic system of duty, especially as his heart grows deeper in love with her.
As Mia Phillips watches her mother slip away from cancer, she bows under the pressure of unpaid bills and heartache. No amount of soul searching fills her empty bank account… or her indecision over the most breathtaking man. Ram offers her a life change, yet not with him—a fake marriage of convenience to his brother. Javad is too hard and rigid, but Ram… he is the other half of her soul. Yet they must remain friends to make the lie seem real. Or will they?
Everything comes down to propriety, honor, and the right to choose the love of their hearts…
Brooke Stone runs a slumping hot air balloon business and pride keeps her from asking for help. Her last flight of the day introduces her to Damon Sinclair. He is mysterious, sexy, and he wants her to work for him. But there is deception at play. Someone is gunning for her, strategically placing Brooke at the center of danger, while Damon uses all his government resources to help her. She is two steps away from a break down, yet her new savior proves she needs a miracle, and she cannot help but hold onto his dust-devil storm, awestruck and seduced.
No matter their sensual cravings, trouble is coming… and so is the truth.
The inside of brokenness is dark and gritty. A place where pain resides. It’s not sunshine and roses. It’s not rainbows and flowers. No, this real. This is where heartache meets the soul on a journey of healing. This is therapy between ink and words. It’s called… survival.
Have a wonderful Valentine’s Day!!
Welcome to a new blog post theme I’ll be writing the first Saturday of each month. I’ll give you an inside look at what I’m working on, along with excerpts for upcoming and future books. Be sure to follow my blog and receive email updates for the latest…
I’m a little late posting this as my new year has hit a few bumps. My husband was in an car accident. Thankfully, he’s okay, but it’s taken a while for him to recover. My writing has taken a backseat, yet I’m hoping to begin writing again. I’d really love to finish up a few projects. I am scheduled to take a small vacation soon, so it might be March before I get back into full on writing. I hope everyone is doing well. Be safe…

Welcome to a new blog post theme I’ll be writing every month. Let’s share some books. Titles, authors, and links welcome in the comments. Be sure to follow my blog and receive email updates for the latest…
In September, I took a step away from classic romance books, and I was stuck in the past. I do that sometimes. There are moments when I’m all about mystery novels, then all about romance in different genres. Recently, I enjoyed reading several titles about ancient Egypt. Each author spun a wonderful tale full of intrigue, suspense, and love. I would recommend each novel. Each book provides you with a lovely story that is fully unique. Best wishes to the authors and their publication success.
